Guest guest
Hi all,, Well I spoke with again tonite and Rick is still about the same, still very confused and actually didnt recognize her and said he needed to call .. His sodium is still way to low, but was up to 120. One doc actually scared , one doc who is not part of his team said something to her about the 'possibility' of lung cancer or lymphoma... the rest of the medical team said that was wrong and that this doc who said that was way out of line.. So tomorrow she is going to try to have a sit down with both docs, the liver doc and the kidney doc and see if they can give her some idea of what is going on.. The liver doc says his liver is fine, its doing just fine so they dont think that this is part of anything to do with his liver.. Today they did a CT of his head to see if there was anything in there that might be causeing this and she should hear the results tomorrow.. I will post whatever I hear when I hear it.. I would ask you all to keep in your thoughts and prayers as this is becoming MORE than simply stressful. The nurse who is taking care of Rick told her to take the day off tomorrow and just rest and take care of herself and of course promised to take care of Rick. This is day number 8 with no answers yet. Im MORE worried about her right now because this stress just cannot be good for her. The medical staff do say that they will get it straightened out.. I hope they do as this cannot be good for him to continue being under this kind of stress in his body. Its been 3 weeks since Rick had his liver transplant, he should be headed home and not still being in the hospital with an unknown medical issue... I HATE THIS VIRUS and what it does to us!!!
