Guest guest Posted June 25, 2008 Report Share Posted June 25, 2008 Seeking two Clinical Supervisors for a community based Behavior Analytic service provider in the greater Philadelphia, Bucks County, Trenton, and surrounding areas. The Clinical Supervisors will supervise staff, support quality and training initiatives, and carry a light clinical caseload. Work locations will include an office centrally located near Bucks/Philadelphia/Montgomery counties. Caseload can be developed in numerous geographic SE PA or NJ areas, depending on travel time. We are seeking one supervisor with extensive experience in school consultation, fba and behavior intervention planning. We also hope to find a second supervisor (proficient in behavior planning) that specializes in home autism programming - such as Verbal Behavior or other skill acquisition techniques. Responsibilities include (to various degrees for each Supervisor): Provide clinical supervision and BCBA supervision to current staff in our offices Supervise and teach/train all ABA staff on philosophy and technical skills of ABA in our offices and (occasionally) on site. Schedule and conduct staff evaluations Participate and present at workshops Act as frequent and accessible liaison between staff and clients Attend community events and conferences Provide ABA consultation to clients with a case load of 20 hours/week average Assess training needs and priorities for 1:1 and consultant staff Assist in editing of staff reports Ideal Qualifications: Masters Degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field required, PhD/EdD preferred Board Certification in Behavior Analysis required, though immediate board eligibility will be acceptable for the right candidate 5+ years working directly with clients in ABA, including hands on implementation/development of DTT, Verbal Behavior, or other skill acquisition techniques (for one of the supervisors) Extensive staff training and/or staff development programming Experience and/or training in all aspects of Applied Behavior Analysis including philosophy, discrete trial methodologies, incidental teaching, prevention and management of behavior problems, performing functional analyses, and teaching based on the analysis of verbal behavior. Past case experience with autism/developmental disabilities, behavior disorders, both home and school services Extensive experience in training staff in the use of applied behavior analytic procedures Formal training in legal requirements and professional ethics Well developed professional and interpersonal skills and an understanding of how to instill this quality in staff Direct experience conducting documented and thorough BCBA candidate supervision preferred Excellent follow through skills and attention to detail The position requires very strong writing and editing, communication and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work as a member of a clinical team Possess a sense of humor and willingness to roll up your sleeves Organizational behavioral management experience is a plus, though not required.
