Both ABA and non ABA practitioners should benefit from this presentation. Dr.

Schnee will

elaborate on early learning objectives before presenting a model for advanced

language

and cognitive treatment. The model is designed to help students integrate vast

bits of

information acquired during treatment so that new relations and meaning emerge.

The

model offers sequences and strategies so that more able learners become fluent

conversationalists, speculators, wonders and perspective takers. The model

offers a

practical way of conceptualizing language programming for youngsters with

language

deficits and related social deficits. Thinking from philosophy, linguistics,

developmental

psychology, behavior analysis and other disciplines round out this talk so that

our

interventions are `rounded out'.

Please go to our web site at nexuslanguagebuilders.com for general information

about

NLB. Go the the Oakland Event page about the Oakland talk to arrange for

payment. The

cost for the talk is 40.oo per person.

Unfortunately, no payments can be accepted at the door. Payment can be made

either

through Paypal or check-by-mail (sent to NLB).
