Unique opportunity in Dayton,OH for children with ASD (and therapists needed)

Hello everyone. Behavioral Consulting

(www.andersonbehavioralconsulting.com) is opening a new ABA/VB

therapy center in Dayton December 10, 2007. While part-time openings

are still available for formalized ABA/VB programming, one unique

feature we will offer is facilitated play sessions. Children will be

paired with one other child (initially; eventually working up to 4

children total in a room) and will have a 1:1 therapist. Based on

the child's social strengths and weaknesses an individualized

treatment plan will be written and executed through these play

sessions. We will work on things such as turn taking, following

directions, appropriate play with toys, requesting things from peers,

sharing, etc.

I am looking for a few part time therapists (experience preferred) to

help facilitate these play sessions. Training will be provided. If

you are an ABA/VB therapist and/or know anyone who might be

interested, please pass this info along.

Also, I am hoping (in the next 6 months or so) to add more ABA/VB

therapy sessions as well as OT/ST/PT services...so if you know of any

OT/ST/PTs with experience with ASD, please pass this info along to

them so we can create a " one-stop-shoping " experience to make life

easier for families :-).
