Two pills down - one month two more pills to go, another month. Pharmacist does not believe it is the Gavapetin. Like I said any ideas. Itchy. Thanks Cathie. Hi CATHIE Cunningham,

Welcome HERE!

how IS YOUR LIVER?? I'm Hepc stage 2b..and ESLD .

At this point, it doesn't matter how or where we became hosts to

this weird virus.

About 2 weeks after stopping tx,(My body couldn't take it..I would

get real sick with Staph Infection..Since then about two years

ago, I've been hospitalized for staph, cellulitus, for a minimum 2

week stay...and even spent 3 horrible days in the psyche ward. The

GOOD news is...it (hep c) is different for everyone. hahahaha (he

said with maniacal laughter).....joke

Anyway..My teeth fell out of my head, generally when I wasn't HOME

ALONE.Go to the restroom with teeth, out with freinds, and come

back to the table with (the worst) incisor gone. Talk about

answering questions,,Lil!!

My point is that different things happen to different people, and I

have just recently begun itching, basically any where there is

flesh. I use Wall greens Name anti-itch cream and it allows about

4/5 hours of not itching..so that's not so bad..

Do you live in an atmosphere that requires heating? If so..it could

be that may be drying your so bad..even though you may not have a

history of dry skin.

Drink plenty of water, and really, that helps!! If your skin is dry

you are not hydrated enough.

It's yet another quality of our unbelievably complex bodies,

acting as a warning..warning...I need water!!

Hope you don't scratch until the area bleeds..The ONLY benefit from

that is you stop itching temporarily.

Bye for now,

God Bless us All,

Deliman

HI suzie Itchy skin is a common side of having hep c. That was how I found out. That was like 9 months ago and still itching. I have tried everything. The thing that works the best for me is cool showers, only use soap where you need it(not on legs and arms), I use organic shampoo and conditioner from whole foods (called 365 and is only $4 a bottle), I use Cetaphil cream as soon as i get out of the shower and when I start to itch bad. When the itching is really bad I use Chloro-Phenaramine. I take 1/2 a tab as needed. Also my lotions and soaps have little to no added fragrance. I use free and clear soap for washing my clothes. I have a few other remidies that my dr gave me that did not help me but have helped others. If you want them let me know. Dsuzie wrote: I guess it has been a week now since I joined. That

reminded me, if you’re using heat in the house, try running a humidifier or

two, too. The heat dries out the air and your skin.
