BCBA supervision rates and styles

I was wondering:

how much people have been paying for BCBA supervision? Were any price

differences between on-site vs. distance supervision? What did you look for in a

supervisor/what made supervision most effective?

If you have done distance supervision, how has that been accomplished? through

Skype? or an online software/product?

Has anyone attended a supervision group? How was that run?

Any info is appreciated.

Hi , and All (Brace yourselves?

My sense of it is that ABA works on a continuum of the essential elements and

that most ABA (training, actually) is done by parents and primary caregivers

(who in many ways follow the general principles of ABA, I find) but where

specialists educated and trained in the most advanced ABA science available

incorporating all the generally accepted things to date with respect to ABA and

applying such as you might find with BCBAers (with proven experience) and such,

tends to be what professionals do and charge for which runs the gamut of

volunteer contributions (as entailed in Communication and Research [Thereof?]

where your programming is centered on that) up to, God only know what people get

away with charging when it's a near perfect application, (?)(if not compromised

by ulterior motives? less than of the perfectly ethical I mean) keeping in mind

that it wouldn't be perfect for the consumer where it's beyond their means and

they couldn't sustain it, of themselves? no. (I Feel as understand.. .

I only wish we'd see specialists in ABA trained to develop ABA programming

towards what is " available " (feasible, to effect) with respect to the

consumer/client/customer and the resources (reinforcers!) available in that

respect of what I would consider ideal or optimum ABA (to the circumstances?)

but I really haven't seen that yet, [weird? somewhat?] except from the parents

or primary caregivers (paying for it, what a coincidence?) perhaps? " My " take on

that.. How much people specifically charge for standard high-quality ABA in

terms of what academia and the industry/profession (as a collective or

consensus?) charges remains to be seen/answered? .. . Any amount from

understanding more for ourselves, to infinity, otherwise? .. .

Keep an open mind to the possibilities because it's my sense that we could and

should all be doing ABA as best we can (of learning theory?) with what we've

got, but especially when for Communication (of that reciprocal thing or

exchange? of value?) which I believe makes it the best we can make it when for

the individual with special-needs, Thereof, of " my " style of ABA, perhaps. (If

that helps, in that respect, where you want to be careful with the other styles,

otherwise? with those who are not trying to communicate with you, I mean.. .

What you get from me that I try to impress upon over and over again, " of "

Communication, of The facts, Thereof? (Until the end of that, I must presume, of

wherever that takes me of Us, where the means (of The principle/s, of ABA, of

Communication?) justifies the end(s), Thereof.. .

To broaden the question(s) perhaps, where finding someone (people, anyone or

anything?) who or which can help you train and live within your " means " would be

the more meaningful question I believe, with respect to the sort of ABA I

deliver, where I deliver any at all.. You would need to factor in that to be

doing ABA(J) as far as " I'm " concerned (as far as " Justness " is concerned, is

also my take on that.. . (!)

ABA for Understanding (More

I tried to answer the survey (on the other question?) but it seemed it wasn't

open to people from outside US postal codes? I tried to send it in nevertheless,

not feeling it was worth pursuing any further than that, in this respect of

that, of all I've said, Thereof! of doing what I can with respect to training

within my means of Communication, Thereof! I can't (logically/more reasonably?)

wish more for anyone, I Feel as understand (than for Understanding More, for my

" self, " I Feel as understand, on how everything works, better, no doubt? .. .

That would be by Definition of Understanding, I'm absolutely sure, of that, of

what I Feel, (felt?) Thereof!

For more on that? where I somewhat better understand what my limits are " here, "

in this respect of that, since you/we are " so " good to me.. . (!)

I'd have done a better job of this but I didn't have more time, as a volunteer?

as good as ABA gets? My sense of It, of what I'm aiming for, of " Communication! "

and the " primary " facts, (results even, if not especially?) Thereof.. . Where

everything " else " I have my doubts about, if you know what I mean, Thereof.. .
