HI everyone,

spoke with today and she said that rick is going extremely

well and is out of the ICU yesterday and will probably go home either

Fri or over the weekend if he continues to do this well.. All he has

left is his drainage tubes and those will be removed tomorrow.

said he is doing so well but still having 'some' issues with

pain and discomfort. She says that he is a little grouchy and that

is just not like him,, so we were talking about 'cell memory',, I've

heard them talk about that where ppl suddenly have appetites and

cravings for things they never liked before and later found out that

the donor loved those foods.. so maybe the donor had a little grouchy

streak in him,, lol,,

anyway, Ill talk with melissa probably tomorrow.. My mom was thought

to have had a minor heart attack so they kept her but after they did

all the tests and even tho her enzymes were somewhat elevated, they

said she did not have one and might very possibly come home tomorrow

and she'll be coming here for a day or two but they are getting a

visiting home nurse to come and check her each day as she will be

coming home with the foley catheter still in place. Today they tried

to get her to 'pee' some and she did,, about 2 tablespoons, lol, so

the catheter went back in,, guess they will try each day until they

can get it out..

well thats all for now,,

thank you guys for all the support you continue to give to Rick and

! It means a lot to them AND it means a lot to all of us here

too.. what a great group we have here!!!

hugs to all

jackie
