((((Bonniy)))) This is a great poem. I enjoyed it so much. You are talented and should continue to write. Hugs, VickieG

Hero

Did you know

I sit here quietly, watching you go by fighting every day, though no one knows your pain,

or of the battle that you wage, against this dragons disdain

I've seen so many heros, those of sports, movies and such

I wonder how they would do, in this dragons mighty cluch

did you know

I've know days that I wonder how you do it, waiting for morning to begin

trying to not let me know, while fighting the pain from within,

I've seen those so called football heros, shouting but for me the game was won

how would he feel, what would he do, feeling this dragons tongue

your the hero that I see, the one quietly trying to live

but I know the pain you live through, while still trying to give

others don't know, nore can they see the strength you have,

going from day to day, dealing with the things, others find ordinary

but I know for you, are sometimes insurmountable

A hero I have found, the one I love so much

where I should give you strength and courage

your the one that gives so much

a hero I have found, far mighter than the rest

for he's the one I call my love

the one thats dearest to me
