Guest guest
I was told by my PA to notify Human Resources at my job re: my TX. Some others of you have indicated the same. When I got the form back from the doc's office it simply said: Yes, I can do my job; that I would have appointments with the office and for blood work; and that the length of TX would vary from 6 months to a year depending on how I responded. There was no information on specifics: " Chronic Liver Disease " not " Hep C " , no mention of the names or side effects of the drugs being used (PegIntron & Ribavirin). Is it smart to request that they provide notation of the side effects I am having that would effect my job-- or not? My supervisor is a cold hearted bee-atch who is always micromanaging. She is insulting and ruthless. I haven't discussed this with the doc's office-- but this woman is meaner than our disease. It's not just me she's a pain with, but all of us at work. She loses employees for that reason. Any wisdom? Thanks, Photi
