Guest guest
Good news indeed! From: Hepatitis_C_Central [mailto:Hepatitis_C_Central ] On Behalf Of redjaxjm Sent: Saturday, October 18, 2008 9:42 PM To: Hepatitis_C_Central Subject: update on Rick Well guys, we have GOOD NEWS!!! Rick is out of the ICU and his sodium is up to 130!!! Thank God!.. He is still confused and not back to his baseline mentation but that surely has to follow soon. He has a patient sitter with him at all times so that he can have help immediately should he try to get out of bed again because he is a huge fall risk. He has tried a couple of times to remove his IV's, his ekg leads etc,, so its a good thing that they have someone with him at all times. is just exhausted and is back to their apartment and is going to bed soon. I keep reminding her that Rick has help where he is and that SHE MUST take care of HER,, because one day soon, Rick will be coming home and then he will need her and so she has to be rested and in good shape.. I could hear the 'relief' in her voice tonite and IM greatly encouraged by what she is telling me. WE both believe that Rick will pull through this and will be alright. We both are holding onto this belief. Well thats all on this front tonite, IM going to kick back, watch some tv with my laptop on my lap so if anyone needs me, Ill be right here.. Many thanks and much love to all from .. she really feels our love and care for both of them! hugs to all, jax No virus found in this incoming message. Guest guest
Great news, hope they have it all worked out now. I don't know way they wait so long till they put you on the list, it's nuts. The better shape your in when they do the transplant the easier it goes in my book. I know I got5 lucky as my Melt numbers were low and was in good health other then the liver so it went easy. With all the problems Rick hard before the transplant his body was already in shock and then to get a good liver added to that. But now that it is working things should start coming together once they get the right drugs and doses. Here's to a better time bud rich 10 moths 6 days
