Guest guest
Ahhh, Sharon! A studio devoted to your crafts! I'm soooo jealous! I spent a little Christmas money today on some scrapbooking supplies and there were some storage type items in there I would have loved to have gotten but I just simply don't have a place to put them! Your hubby deserves a big smooch! I'd love to see the chain when you get it finished! Love you! Guest guest
Hello, Sorry I know i probably should be starting a new post here but I was just wondering how I could get a copy of the brochure mentioned in an earlier e-mail. I've experienced the same problems as many others in that people seem to be astounded at how well i look at times. My usual response is that I'd be on top of the moon if I felt how I looked! Anyway.....I'd really like to have a look at the brochure. Is it downloadable or do I have to send off somewhere? Thanks for your help! Guest guest
Oh, Sharon, how I agree with you! Over the years, the phrase " But you don't look sick " has been stricken from my vocabulary. I am not a vain person, but I do try to put on my makeup and look presentable when I go out, I guess people think you should look like you just rolled out of bed when you tell them you have Still's. I think a large part of that is they don't understand the disease. For instance, if I were to tell someone I had diabetes, they would never say that. Even though it is a life threatening illness. I think it's just that they are more familiar with things like that than Still's. Sometimes, when I try to explain to someone what it is, they get this look on their face and say things like, Oh I thought Arthritis was for old people. It's a very personal thing for me, and sometimes, I don't even try to explain. Please don't feel bad if you need therapy, either. We all have at one time or another. Your frustration and anger is understandable. Some of what you're feeling could be the meds (not sure what you're on). I blow up at my hubby sometimes, too, and it bothers him some, but I always try to talk to him about it afterward, apologize and move on. You are blessed with an understanding mate and that will help you tremendously. One of my girlfriends used to say, " Grow your toenails long and hang in there, girl! " Better days for you, Gail Sharon wrote: I am trying to get a therapist - but if one more person tells me that I don't look sick or that 99 is not a fever I am gonna scream!!!! My normal temp is 96. I do not look good! I look like crapp. I wish people would stop comparing me to others and just listen and keep an open mind. My boyfriend always understands , and I always seem to take it out on him. Oh I guess I will look harder for a therapist- but they will have to tell the therapist ahead of time not to say how good I look or they better just restrain me lol!!!!!!! love and xxxooo Sharon __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Great to see you back Sharon, we missed you!!! Luv anne You don't have to be handicapped to be different.Everybody's different!Kim Peek Penny and Medicare Penny, I treated a year ago with medicare as my insurance. Yes, there is a high co-pay. I think mine was 87 for the ribaviron and more than that for the shots. It's a disgrace, I think, but we have no choice and it's far better than having to pay the full amount. I cleared, so it was worth it to me. A year ago last August and still clear. Good luck what ever you choose. I used a credit card for the copay and took time to pay it off. Sharon in NW Washington Knitting is...time and love made tangible. Alison Hyde
