Guest guest
Hi Regina, It seems like someone put a lot of work into it? Did this work for anyone else? the downloading even if not especially? (or would it be too complicated for that, even? (Or would that be just me, of my problem? .. . Just wondering, (out loud, I suppose.. . Mike Glavic, I Communicate I Communicate for Understanding More, of Justness, Thereof I'm more than hoping you're about as much?!. or why bother with your precision/accuracy?!. > > Even though this is intended, at least as I understand, for the ESL population. > > I am finding this fascinating and useful in thinking about approaches > (and errors) in shaping pronunciation for my language-challenged > daughter. > > > > If you've seen these videos, or have the strategies that they discuss and sources of student confusion, this may be old hat, but if not...rreeaallyy cool. > > > > Teaching English Pronunciation: > > A 13-Part Course > > Zigsite > > http://www.zigsite.com/trainingvideos/teaching_english_pronunciation_to_esl_stud\ ents.html > > > > Regina > Regina Claypool-Frey > > Precisionteaching.com > > >
Guest guest
Regina, I was eventually able to see what I was looking for (after what I must assume was a long download time, for my computer, especially, that I was on, likely) that was (not so accurately?) claimed, after taking some time perusing the materials that were directly available on the site, of the Socrates approach, and it all looked very promising and helpful, and considerate, for what consideration is? .. . (The sessions just appeared out of the blue! a while later, of my *random* approach in accessing them? .. . Me feels it might more have been of The " intuitive, " where applied for the right, reason? .. . Thanks Regina. And sorry for any misunderstanding. I'm not about hurting anyone's feelings, (of confusing them?) far be it, you understand... (what you understand). I need to look more closely at the whole thing, to appreciate it all, I'm sure, of what Siegfried (and Therese) Engelmann et al., have provided us (with your help!) with respect to teaching English pronunciation, of differentiating so much as they do, for the cause, I'd like to think (as Feel!) of as much.. . It really is a lesson on how ungeneralizable teaching the English language " really " is, and how much work would be required, with respect to " training, " in teaching as much? (Maybe it would be like Chinese in that respect? as much as I've heard about Chinese, in moving us along towards communication? for what that more fully is, as is about? If " we " don't know who would, in serving what is necessary? with respect to what is " functional? " I'd like to think it is about Individuals understanding more for themselves, of justness, Thereof, as related to The feeling/s of needs, no doubt, that we could help each other in that respect of the more meaningful, accuracy? .. . What do you really feel of as much? should provoke further feelings towards " The answer/s, " is my sense of It, of understanding somewhat part of It, Thereof On what we are accurate (precise?) about makes The difference? Here's to you and more than hoping so in this respect. Yeah. I figure " this " is every bit as *distinct* as the English language can be, where you can appreciate as much, where you don't already? .. . I see the Engelmanns (and you, and this board) as part of that development. I'm glad to be associated with us in that respect (where we try to understand each other as best we can, and/or provide that (those facts?) to " others " for the same, of Communication, Thereof That's something that probably (logically?) still require " analysis, " but consider how much more it says by as much? .. . over behavior, otherwise, I'd be thinking, of the more meaningful behavior, Thereof Mike Glavic What I tend to be accurate about.. . where you wanted to know, for as much. > > > > Even though this is intended, at least as I understand, for the ESL population. > > > > I am finding this fascinating and useful in thinking about approaches > > (and errors) in shaping pronunciation for my language-challenged > > daughter. > > > > > > > > If you've seen these videos, or have the strategies that they discuss and sources of student confusion, this may be old hat, but if not...rreeaallyy cool. > > > > > > > > Teaching English Pronunciation: > > > > A 13-Part Course > > > > Zigsite > > > > http://www.zigsite.com/trainingvideos/teaching_english_pronunciation_to_esl_stud\ ents.html > > > > > > > > Regina > > Regina Claypool-Frey > > > > Precisionteaching.com > > > > > >
