Why are my bananas still green O/T

I was given two bunches of bananas on Tuesday. Green bananas. Didn't know I

should put them in a paper bag so the first day I left them out, thinking they

would be ripening by the next day (wednesday), no luck. I went online, learned

what I should be doing, and put them in brown paper bags. Today is Thursday.

They are as green as the day I got them.

They are bananas by the way, not plantains.

What the heck do I do now!??
