Sue, I wish Jeff God speed after treatment. Let's hope he's totally done with it. Hugs. VickieG

Jeff's appointment

Hi, We went to his appt. on Fri. All day at Cleveland. He had an ultrasound and biopsy done. There is some restriction of his hepatic vein with blood flow, Dr. thinks scar tissue. But, all his bloodwork is fine, in normal range, so he is not that worried about it. Which is good, but now Jeff is worried about it. Always something. He is not doing any more shots. His insurance company denied the extra 12 shots, said it was experimental and they would not cover it. So, Jeff is done with them. He finished up the ribavirin also. I hope his headaches start to lessen now. Time went by pretty fast for being that long. He won't get the results of the biopsy for 2 weeks. Dr. said he did extremely well on the tx, and wait to see if it comes back. His blood counts should come back to normal range shortly also. Sue

Well,

that’s good & bad. I hate that insurance companies insist on

practicing medicine for patients they’ve never seen. Mine wouldn’t

allow epogen for me because it was off-label use for hep c. Hopefully the tx

Jeff’s had will be good enough. It’s in God’s hands.

Love,
