With the hilarious Night of Too Many Stars, the powerful 11th Annual Walk Now for Autism Speaks and all of our upcoming workshops and conferences (http://elija.org/foundation/news-and-events/conferences-workshops/) , so many of you have really shown your continued support for our school and the Autism community - and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! To wrap up yet another wonderful year, we invite you to join us for our Champions for Charity® Holiday Cocktail Reception at Theory. Since we will not be holding our annual ELIJA gala this year, this is a great opportunity to get everyone together for an end-of-year celebration to support ELIJA. Hosted by Theory and Stella Spanakos, we hope that you will join us at Theory on Dec. 4 from 6-9pm for good company, cocktails, hors d' oeuvres and live jazz music - all while getting some of your holiday shopping done. Night of Too Many Stars suprise special guest, Robin PAST EVENTS A Night of Laughter A fantastic time was had by all who joined us for Comedy Central's Night of Too Many Stars at the Beacon Theatre on October 2. This hilarious night out, all for a good cause, featured everyone from the comical host Jon , to Tina Fey, Steve Carrell, Rock and even a surprise special guest appearance from the one and only Robin ! Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets to support ELIJA and help raise money to ease the severe shortage of effective schools and education programs for children with Autsim. A very special THANK YOU to ELIJA parents Yie-Hsin Hung and Farinelli, the event co-chairs, for their generous time and efforts on behalf of the children at ELIJA. The 11th Annual Walk Now for Autism Speaks held on October 3, 2010 at Beach State Park was a great success! We would like to thank everyone who made it out that windy day to show their support for ELIJA and the Long Island Autism Community. We would also like to congratulate Pinecla of Brentwood, NY, on winning the ELIJA raffle for a free iPAD! In order to show support for his nephew, , who is diagnosed with Autism, attended the walk and won his iPAD merely by stopping by our table and signing up for our newsletter.
