Guest guest
American expat family looking for an SLP and ABA therapist for daily therapy sessions in Bali for a boy who just turned 3 with slight apraxia and various other minor delays. He is only speaking a few words currently, he can label and mimic, but does not make many requests unprompted. ABA: teacher with special education experience - BCBA (Board Certified Behavioral Analyst) with special knowledge of helping to build communication skills. SLP: Licensed SLP with childhood apraxia experience, with a focus on oral motor and knowledge of PROMPT (Beckman exercises a plus). Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic and be those who's therapies are ABA driven, who will help teach our son to ask for what he wants, not just to label things. He has no behavioral issues and is a happy and affectionate boy who is eager to learn. Expect minimum 25 hours/ week combined therapy in exchange for all accommodation, meals, plane tickets, per dium etc.: This opportunity would allow you to spend time in a culturally-rich paradise. We live in a 3-BR luxury pool villa where you would have a private room with ensuite bathroom, satellite television, wifi, etc, as well as use of all the resorts amenities, ie fitness center, the most amazing beach, and a spectacular infinity edge lap pool. There is a spa and two restaurants on site as well. Please contact me at Baliexchange@... for further details regarding our son and the arrangement. If it's not for you, then tell your colleagues, we're looking for something as early as November 2010 and will consider all options in terms of duration of stay. For those of you that may have seen a similar ad to this for Thailand, yes, we have relocated to Bali.
