Guest guest
Hi Libby, I just wanted to ask you- re your fill, are you on real proper solids yet? I'm still feeling a little unready for them, stuff's getting stuck if I don't chew the heck out of it, or puree to baby food consistency. I ate some spag-bol tonight, without the pasta, I could manage quite a lot of the sauce, but dared not have it with pasta, in case it got stuck. My band really talks to me if I challenge it too far, I'm in real pain if I eat too much or too solid, so I'm putting the brakes on still. Are we supposed to be in a state similar to being non-banded yet? I'm definitely not. I don't feel like eating in the mornings, but by 11.00, I'm ready, and might have a banana (how decadent) or some porridge then. The thing is though, I'm as hungry as anything by mid-afternoon, and then I can really tuck it away, albeit in a runny/ roughly pureed non-solid manner. My fill for next Monday has had to be moved, so I'm waiting for the dietician to give me the Ok for it to now be this Wednesday (I'm unsure whether I'm ready or not), or Monday 17th, by which time I'll be devouring the Iner West . I hope you're well and coping with the school hols too- I'm already poorer ($ wise) for the experience. Cheers, (A)
Guest guest
Hi , I'm having my first fill on Wednesday which is really good, as I am really, really hungry. I am starting the transition diet and am not having any problems with food whatsoever, with the caveat that I think tonight I had a bit too much pasta with the result that my chest hurt a bit - a little bit like a warning bell! I have noticed that I am not hungry until about 11am and then usually eat a little something by 1pm. I also find that I am very hungry by the time i get home from work - god event the cat food smells ok (just kidding)!!!!! Yes methinks I definitely need a fill and pronto. I'm just scared about it all. Why does it always rain during school holidays. Lots of luv, Libby :-) New Message Search Find the message you want faster. Guest guest
Hi again Libby, Hmmm....judging by your response, maybe I'm not ready for it....I haven't been told anything yet about a transition diet, so maybe it's too soon. If the dietician ever gets to return my call, I'll ask! Cheers, (A)
