Carolyn -- just take a moment to LOOK at yours and wonder 'WHAT'S REALLY WRONG'

- and see if you can find a solution - a trip to a thrif store can solve a LOT

of problems -- and give it a day or two to mull around inside your head, VERY

seldom so answers come straight from recognizing a problem to solving the

problem - most of the time it takes time to let them 'germinate' and grow, just

like your sprouts. -- I'll bet you don't need to 'buy' more junk -- that you can

figure out a perfectlly good solution all by yourself, and often it'll be better

than what you bought -- there ARE better mouse traps, but most never make it to

market! -- paul -

I'll put another tray on top and leave it empty.  Thanks for that idea.  I'll

try that.  And perhaps the water in the bottom will keep it moist.  Thanks for

trying to help. Wish I had checked before buying this one.  But my other looked

sort of like this and it worked great.  Must have lost it in some moves.

To thrift shop?  For mason jars?  and hose? Or for another  sprouter?  I

hate to buy something else, especially new.  I could poke something in to open

holes larger or drill but then my alfalfa sprouts would likely fall through.

Some sprouted a bit yesterday and today I moved some to another try.  Hope this

batch grows.  I put a tray on top that is empty and have 2 trays and the bottom

tray for collecting water.   I sit one side on something in hopes it will

drain out well.
