Our Presenter: Sonja de Boer is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (B.C.B.A.) and obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Kansas (KU) in Special Education and Psychology and Research in Education with an emphasis in autism spectrum disorders (ASD). She also holds both general education and special education teaching credentials. She has over 15 years of experience working in special education, specifically with students with ASD. Dr. de Boer currently operates her own corporation, de Boer Consulting & Training, LLC, providing consultation and training regarding interventions for students with ASD in general and special education classrooms, as well as in the home. She focuses on early intervention for students with ASD creating applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs for children (in homes and schools) and designing inclusive education programs for students with ASD within school districts.
