I don't believe anyone is trying to take your name from you. It just seems from what I have read that there might have been a bit of confusion earlier on with Jane/ and J - I think that is resolved now?!? I think, or hope that this matter is now resolved. We do need to keep in mind when reading posts, that how we read something is perhaps not in the same tone as it was authored.

I have posted previously and will post until my fingers are worn down to stubs that I have had the best experience and care from CoC. I am so pleased that you found this too. Part of the procedure of choosing a surgeon is finding someone that you trust to do your operation, but also find the whole experience comfortable and reassuring. Glad to hear that you have discovered that too.

I also went through CoC and had my operation done on 5 June 2006.

I was very happy with the service I received. Like with most things in life, people have different perceptions of things and as long as you are happy with what you have chosen, then that is all that matters.

I'm glad you are very happy with your choice and your care. However, I must say that at least here on SydBand I

have found that most people post what they think to be genuinely correct information, and never intentionally set out to mislead.

I could not have got through this whole thing without the help of my wonderful 'bandster' friends. Whenever I have had a problem, it is these wonderful people

here that have gone out of their way to help me. The doctors might know all the 'textbook' answers, but it the people on this site who know what it is to live with a band,

and that is something you can't get from a textbook.
