While I try hard not to insert foot in mouth...

They are not all created even close to equal, but List rules frown

on brand names, so I will have to wait for someone more knowledegable

to explain the details....

I forget the needed percents and what-not, just know that the better

stuff contains Silybin Phytosome, 240 mg minimum each capsule,

generally to be taken one capsule 3 times a day.. Whew, trying

to help here..

Re: Milk Thistle

we had a bad reaction to Milk thistle (it's high fenol but I don't know if that's why) but he tolerates liver life fine.

Does that help protect liver Mandi or help promote bile?

protect the liver, rebuild it in some cases, for improving quality of bile I would use Taurine

Thanks Mandi.

Also Sue, if there are probs with soy or taurine (the latter was really constipating here), i think artichoke is said to be good for improving bile. Haven't used it myself so don't know of any brands, unless anyone else uses it and can recommend?
