Hi…

and what’s your name?

I believe

this is something you need to talk to your doctor about, let him/her know your

concerns. A lot of people with Hep C avoid taking iron, but in your case I would

guess it is to help build your liver and blood.

But that

is all it is, a guess. I would be very much interested in knowing what

your doc says, though. I hope you will post more on the subject soon.

Subject: Is it to much or necessary?

My doctor has me on 325mg of ironsupplement

twice a day[750mg per day]

since having liver resection done 4-1-08.my liver was /is cirrotic

with hepc of course prior to tumor diagnoses.Ilost just over 3 pints

of blood during the course of the 8 hour surgery,so my own blood

was re-cycled.So my question is ,''should i be taking that much iron

each day ,and why.

You’ll

have to talk to your doc about that, hon. Generally iron is not good for

unhealthy livers, but sometimes the docs have to choose the lesser of two evils

for the right outcome.

idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress.... But then I
