Guest guest
Ginger, Sorry to hear you are struggling with your breatheing. Is it related to the Still's or something else. I am a bit behind in my email from the group. Wonderful to hear you have finally got someone on your side, like that and was able to get the doctor to listen to you. Here's to feeling better. Tracilyn _____ From: Ginger Sunshine Sent: Tuesday, February 01, 2005 3:20 PM To: stillsdisease Subject: Hi all Well, ok someone is finally listening to me. I won't take the time to list everything but the people who deliver my asthma stuff called me last night and they are not only sending me a new nebulizer, but they got my Hemathologist to listen to me when I told him I can't breathe when I walk just a short distance. He is sending out a nurse to take my blood and check for my oxegon level. I may get my much needed transfusion sooner. Maybe then I can feel a little normal well not all the way with the stills but at least with my blood being so bad. Hugs; Ginger
Guest guest
Hello Beverly......I don't think we have ever met. My name is Carey and I live in the US, New Jersey. I am 31 years old and was diagnosed with Stills in March of 2004. I have two children, both boys. is 9 and is 3. When was about 5 years old he had gotten sick. Had an awful cough, that sounded like a seal barking. Was not eating and barely drinking. My pediatrician brought him into the hospital right away. And diagnosed him with " the Croop " . He was in the hospital for about three days. While in he was given IV fluids for dehydration. And also they actually put a clear plastic tent over his bed so he could breathe in some kind of mist they pumped in there. He came home with a nebulizer. And used it for a while after. But, all the docs at first kept asking me if he had asthma. So I was just thinking that you situation with your little one sounds familiar. Maybe bring the Croop up to your consultant. Just a thought. And also....I lost my father 4 years ago. He was my everything. I adored him. I am still grieving over the loss. And I think I always will. If you would like to talk with me privately. You could email me privately at..... _mncnotenuftime@..._ (mailto:mncnotenuftime@...) Take care, Carey
Guest guest
I have no idea Tracilyn, if it's the stills or not. I think so because it has been in the past. But now they are saying that my blood is so low that they think it's from that and I may need a transfusion. I will know tomorrow. I hope!!! Hugs and thank you I am all for feeling better. Guest guest
Hi all, Sorry to be absent, I've gone back to work and am being kept pretty busy. Shopped 3 hours with a client one day and then went for meds the next morning for another and then shopping the whole afternoon again for yet another client. I am shopped out, for sure. I am trying to keep my hours at around 20 a week, I'm a old lady and don't want to work very hard. THe extra money is nice tho and I don't have so much time on my hands this way. Good luck to those in treatment and a special prayer goes out to Rick and . Hope things work out for them. They've had a battle.
