Scratching of the palms, as a sensory issue

Hello,

Our son persevers on rubbing the palms of his hands with spoons and jar lids,

mostly (despite all that we've done...) Is anyone familiar with this phenomena

and how have you addressed it (successfully? .. .).

Correct answers would be appreciated.. . Hey, on why I come here, for as much..

Just to let you all understand, better? .. . (but what else, if not a lie, of

the heart?) I did get a worthy response that suggested dealing with a yeast

infection below the skin, of the palms, with a topical application of an

anti-yeast preparation (like a cream available at places that sell things like

that, or GSE, grapefruit seed extract, and whatever else you could try? and my

wife thought vinegar might work but I don't know.. . Brushes can be

de-sensitizing where they work on the underlying issue and you have the time for

that.. .

So much for surgery?!.

Here's hoping we look more at sensory issues with respect to communicating, the

facts, of behavior, and underlying issues, Thereof? .. . (often if not too often

relegated to reinforcers and motivators?) Where Understanding (The feeling/s?)

must be the condition of optimum health if not everything else " so meaningful, "

is my sense of It.. . I'm feeling OK with that.

P.S. Ivar Lovaas (arguable the founder of modern ABA) apparently recently died,

very recently, like the other day. There goes Big Country, of sorts. I'll miss

him as I still if not always will, appreciate him and what he's done. I wish him
