SCYS Let's Get Ready For School Program! is geared towards children, youths aged

4 - 8 years of age, going into the school system for the first time or those who

just need a boost for the September start school year!

Research has shown Early Intervention is a " window of opportunity " where a

child's full potential can be maximized. Our program fosters growth in

communication, social, academic readiness skills, language, sensory integration

skills and fine and gross motor skills.

We offer a multi disciplinary approach and have a team of professionals which

included: A Certified Teacher, ABA Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech

Language Pathologist, Clinical Supervisor & a Behaviour Consultant. We work

collaboratively to ensure each child's program is individualized.

Let's Get Ready for School! Program will run for 3 weeks, 5 days a week for 4

hours each day. **Except Thursdays Class will be for 3 hours**

Our program will start on August 16 - September 3rd 2010. 1pm - 5pm in Milton -

Main Street & Street.

Assessment Dates: July 17th - 21st 11 am - 5pm.

An assessment will be completed to learn your child's strengths and weaknessess

and also assist us in program planning on the best start for your child. Once an

assessment has been completed this will guide us in the individualized program

aspect for your child, along with any goals your family has and treatment plans

with the assistance of our multi disciplinary team.

**Space is limited to 5 children/youth**
