About This Workshop:

This is not a typical workshop designed to merely explain what ABA with Verbal

Behavior is. This workshop introduces many of the major principles of ABA/VB

offering information that will allow those in attendance to begin thinking about

the behavior choices of their children with (and without) autism in more

productive and successful ways. (Note: ABA is a scientific approach to assessing

behavior and can only be conducted by trained individuals under the guidance of

a qualified behavior analyst).

Schramm, MA, BCBA, has lived in Los Angeles, California and worked with

children since 1991 turning his focus to autism in 1997. Since 2004, has

been living in Germany and offering workshop, consultation and education

services to families of children with Autism, Asperger’s and other related

disorders in Europe. He is the author of “Educate Toward Recovery: Turning

the

Tables on Autismâ€, described as a “must-read for parents, therapists and

teachers of children with autism†(Cherish Twigg, MS, BCBA and Holly Kibbe,

MS,

BCBA).

's Two Day Intensive Introductory ABA/VB Workshop offers many of the same

topics of the book with more than 20 video demonstrations of the principles and

recommendations in action. The value of this two-day introductory workshop comes

from its ability to take the work of ABA/VB pioneers like Partington, Sundberg,

and Carbone, and help make them more understandable and practical for the

parent, therapist, school teacher or other Special Ed. Professionals working and

caring for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Late Registration (January 1, 2011 and after): $150 for

***Military Families get a $25 discount when registering.

A Buffet Lunch is also available for $10 per day.

travel costs, the USO Fort Drum vans may be an option for families willing to

carpool from Fort Drum to Syracuse and back both days. Email or call if you are
