Guest guest
Dear Ashok, Initially I got a bit confused about what digs you were talking about. In recent times, I have not taken any digs at anybody. Then I scrolled through the messages and suddenly realized where the misunderstanding could have arisen. I read your letter where God had taken part in a chat show. That inspired me to write " Conversation with God " . Your letter was just my inspiration. I was not rebutting your letter or anything. In fact my article was on an entirely different topic. Just as Orwell wrote Animal Farm, with a story line of pigs and cattle, the actual story had nothing to do with animals. It was a clever satire on Communism. Similarly, my Conversation with God had nothing to do either with God or your letter. It was just a satire on politicians and how they appear only during election time. I then realized how you could have misunderstood the whole thing and thought that it was a dig against you. Perish that thought! I am more transparent in my digs. Next time I'll label them This time, thanks for UNDERSTANDING! Guest guest
Dear Kishore, I'm sure you must be blushing after reading Neeti's mail full of praise... I second her views - importantly - there are times when we do not write back immediately... that is when you do get impatient... Adoringly/Admiringly (I'm a bit confused here...) :-D Ravin '82 ----- Original Message ----- > Dear Kishore,Sometimes you really touch our hearts by making us insignificant things feel so special. But the truth is.....you are a Bliss to us all ! What could be more hurting for an artist than his sincere efforts not being appreciated/ understood the way they should be? Please,do forgive us selfishly crazy members who have all the time to read your articles and enjoy them to the core but dont have enough time just to put a few good words about your laborious writeups! My only request to you is, someday even if everybody forgets to acknowledge your hardwork and nobody in the whole wide world responds to your articles............pls,pls,pls.......don't take it hard on youself and don't let those thoughts of failure , bother/hurt you,.....b'coz problem here is not you,the real problem is with us the image-conscious-members, who are not sure of themselves ! > > So, please, don't even think twice before dashing off............even the most MAD of your articles, which i would like to call the " Most Admirable and Dignified " works of art!!................:--)) > > <<<Thank you, MGIMS, for giving me this opportunity.Kishore Shah 1974>>> > > Kishore, its MGIMS and its members like me, who are honored by having a great mind like you, amongst us all.The fact of the matter is,we are and we will always be indebted to you for your selfless, tireless, kind efforts and unswerving commitment to MGIMS community. So let me take this opportunity to say a big heartfelt THANKYOU for being what you are and for all that you have been doing for us all.....!! > > With best regards,Neeti'

Guest guest
Hi Anchita, This site is becoming a site of group for penpals,as we haven't got the faintest idea, how u look like and which place u r from,Except that we all belong to this wonderful address on the net,the MGIMSgroup and that's enough to bond us togather.Thanx for passing on the email IDs to her,but my husband Shyam has already been writing regular emails to her and to most our friends of our batch-mates and he has this uncanny desire to bring many of our friends back from hibernation into this group and makes efforts to find them, talk to them all,for oldtimes sake.Right now,he he busy trying to locate batchmates like Urmila Kanawade,Usha Subramanium,Shankar Baitha, etc in his search operation, titled KAHAN GAYE WOH LOG...(just joking). It's me who just isn't very active as Prabha or Ashok and Murtaza, but we have this daily dinner routine where we all sit and Shyam tells us the summary of all mails he recieved in a day,and now my daughter also has a good idea,as to who is Kishoreda,Ashok,Ayesha,Malini etc,and soon, she may enroll as the 2nd gen MGIMSgang, going by the interest she has for those articles. Malini,a belated B'day wishes to Naren, which Shyam forgot to mention, wish u all a great day of fun and enjoyment at the MGIMS UK reunion day.Ashok's mail to Shyam had him rushing out to book for the event, but the fact that we all won't be able to make it,stopped him from going for the party.Next time, perhaps, the US reunion, and yes,a cute hello to Ravin's daughter, from Sohana. Bye. Seema('84). Thanks Thank you all for all the best wishes. Guest guest
I agree about this site becoming a group for pen-pals. Every morning i eagerly open my inbox waiting to read who has written what. I only wish more people would participate actively. Even I go home and tell Bhushan about all the mails. He reads a few which i don't delete or shift to a folder, provided the modem at home is working. for me its easy. as my work involves vrowsing the net (officially) i have the time and the chance to do a few " personal " things too. About knowing how we all look, maybe we should develop a system where all members can scan their recent / " bestest " photographs (married members with their spouses and children please) and place them on the site. Kishoreda are you reading this? kuch to karo, let us at least see each other, across all generations and years of MGIMS.
