Hi, everyone!

Kinda long email...all pertaining to a 5K event in the Columbus, OH area.

April 24, 2010 will be the 7th annual Out Run Autism 5K and 1 Mile " Fun Run "

starting at Hilliard Darby High School and winding through Heritage Park. The

registration is open on line (Check out our FIRST EVER pre-race sponsor, Jeff

Cremeans of Encore Delivery Systems!)

Still plenty of time to become a sponsor:

Our sponsorships range from $250 to unlimited. The levels that we have

established are:

Gold level $1,000

Silver level $750

Bronze level $500

Patron level $250

At these levels, we provide verbal acknowledgement and website acknowledgement

for all sponsors. We print the organization's logo on the back of the race day

t-shirts. The size of the logo depends on the level of sponsorship related to

other sponsors. For example, some years we have had a number of sponsors at the

$500 level but none higher, so we divided up all the real estate and put the

logos on equally across the shirt.

When we have one sponsor that is a main sponsor, their logo is center back and

the other sponsors go around that logo.

Funds raised benefit charities that directly help families affected by Autism.

This year, we will be donating to Recreation Unlimited, a fantastic facility

that brings the outdoors to all special needs kids in Central Ohio, without

regard to ability to pay. My son has made many trips to the favorite charity of

the late Jimmy Crum and comes home with loads of pictures where all you can see

is his smile! In addition, each of the last several years, we have managed to

contribute to Autism Speaks, the world's largest supporter of research for

Autism and advocate for our kids.

We are also open to nominations for benefactors. Our criteria for qualifying is

as follows:

1. The organization must be recognized by the IRS as a 501C-3 charitable

organization.

2. The organization must be willing to disclose all relevant financial

information, including salaries, percentage of donations spent on programming,

short and long term mission statements, statement of purpose for the funds

actually received, etc.

Thanks for reading this far!

Ron
