Description CHILDREN'S HEALTHCARE OF ATLANTA PURPOSE In accordance with the needs of the ages of the population served, the Behavioral Clinical Practitioner will provide billable off-site outpatient behavioral psychology services to children with behavior problems and their families. Provide parent, teacher, and staff training, and monitor effectiveness and implementation of behavioral protocols at home and in school settings. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS · Master's degree in psychology or related field is required. Must be Psych. Associate or LCPC eligible. · Must have a minimum of five years of experience with applied behavior analysis and children with developmental disabilities and/or behavior problems. · Previous training in applied behavior analysis and theoretical understanding and philosophical appreciation for behavioral intervention in a clinical setting is required. · Must be able to organize and manage time and manage multiple tasks. · Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Knowledge of normal/abnormal growth and development throughout the age continuum. · Must be able to successfully pass the Basic Windows Skill Assessment at 80% or higher rating within 30 days of date of hire. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.Direct Clinical Services - responsible for the design and implementation of comprehensive assessment and treatment programs for children and their families; coordinate case management activities; train parents to implement treatment programs. 2. Home Consultation - conduct comprehensive assessment of behavior problems; provide consultative services to parents; design behavioral programs to be implemented in home settings; train families; coordinate home and school communication. 3. Supervision - attend supervision sessions prepared with case files and up to date treatment plans and protocols. 4. Professionalism - conduct self in a responsible and ethical manner; come to work in a timely manner and maintain appropriate therapist-patient relationship. 5. Administrative - complete all paperwork, phone contacts to outside agencies and schools regarding child's treatment and development of treatment plans, goals and objectives. 6. Research - keep up to date with research related to cases and use the findings in an appropriate manner to augment treatment planning.
