Guest guest
Hi Connie, I can't remember your orignial posts but, for me, the initial diagnosis of hep C was done by a general practitioner. It was a sort of two stage process, first by freak accident I was screened for Hep C and that showed I had been exposed to it. Then the follow-up with a more specific test confirming chronic Hep C. To that point the lab work can be read yourself and understood with help of some of the guides we have on this list. I would never recommend staying with a doctor you don't trust, but I'm saying, I think without knowing anymore, read the labwork and rest assured, it sounds like you dodged the bullet. Others? Kim T.
