Guest guest
Hi everyone. I have a question for all on treatment. Has anyone been getting painful boils ? In my life I have gotten one every now and then. But it seems like in the past 2 months I seem to get them one after another. I brought it up to my specialists and he didn't seem to concerned.I know my wbc was as low as 1.7 and he lowered my shot dosage to 50, but my wbc has went up to 1.8 and he increased my shot dosage to 80. Would my wbc play any part in these painful boils or does anyone have any advice on how to handle them. They are on my upper thighs and panty lines. But heres the kicker, I have not been wearing anything tight. And when I come home from work the uniform is the first thing to go, and on come's the robe. I have been taking alot of warm soaking baths. but they just seem to come one after another. I hope this isn't a silly question and I will appreciate anyones input. Thank you Deanna p.s I have been on treatment now for almost 8 months , I just went and got another v-load last Monday. I pray my #'s are where they need to be. My doc is shooting for 50 to
Guest guest
I’m on my fifth month of treatment. I got a boil near my panty line a couple weeks ago. I don’t remember it being painful. My hubby freaked me out cause he popped it. I screamed in pain/fear. His only comment was “that’s where all your white blood cells are going”. Anyway, if you question was silly my answer was sillier. Hope I don’t get any more. Guest guest
I don't think so because I really had problems with my white count and it was down to 1.2 at 6wks before I finished treatment. But I also think every one gets different sides from treatment.I used to get bad rashes.I know some members got staff infections during treatment Gail -----Original Message-----From: HepatitisCSupportGroupForDummies [mailto:HepatitisCSupportGroupForDummies ]On Behalf Of kim thompsonSent: January 7, 2008 12:19 PMTo: HepatitisCSupportGroupForDummies Subject: RE: painful boils I’m on my fifth month of treatment. Guest guest
Don’t know anything about that one, Deanna. Have you checked with the nurse line for whichever med you’re on? I had a painful side effect in my legs called erythema nodosum which was knots & swelling in my legs to where sometimes I could hardly walk. We figured our my thyroids meds were way out of whack at that time so never knew for sure if it was thyroid or a freaky side from tx. painful boils Hi everyone.
