Guest guest Posted February 27, 2011 Report Share Posted February 27, 2011 Hello, I'm an educator and working in an institution that cares for people with autism in Brazil, need to show our work to call attention of the politicians of our country, we are not free services to meet the needs of families living with autism and we have no appropriate treatment programs in the region where I live. We are a group of volunteers who dreams of enabling the largest possible number of professionals working with autism. We travel whenever possible to learn about autism, our intervention model was built from the ABA, PECS and sensory integration. Below you can check out some of our work in Brazil. Being attentive to the *individual* is the basis of ABA (of Communication?) no less, and supplementing with secondary reinforcers (of what resources we could muster? for justice? for the individual, student) to what might not be more directly primary, (to our/their interests?) that what is secondary doesn't answer to the primary, in truly bridging our gaps, as of communication itself, I Feel as understand.. . It really does pay to understand what the student/the other is interested in (Really interested in) in that respect of getting them if not ourselves so far, I figure. Best wishes, in that respect Mike, I ABA ABA for Understandingmore Just prioritize to such justness (if not justness itself? of the Individual, that specificity doesn't beat generalities hands-down) and I believe ABA would be served, not to mention the student and understandingmore and the justness of as much. That we don't know what we're talking about, to be teaching to as much.. . It can be such a battle, of identifying what needs individualizing? (identifying? in dealing with as much) to be understood and treated, no less, though the word prosecution sometimes comes to mind in that respect, where that would be necessary, to the treatment.. . (Some might call that identifying what is critical, of being critical, to what is needed.. . I have no problem with that. I gathered as much from visiting your site?!. Somewhat. Welcome to . Not putting the cart before the horse? Language (or anything else?) before Communication.. . My particular emphasis is on Communication, of Understandingmore (of The feeling/s? of our interests) over everything else, in what I've achieved, by as much, that those wouldn't be the primary facts, but I Feel they are. I/We Understand. Our worlds seem to reflect as much? .. . What we do understand, where we would understand so much (if not more?) at All.. On how that's done, I Feel as understand How to thoroughly assess what the other is interested in may be in order? Just ask for starters, and be open for as much? .. .
