Cost: $175 for two days; breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided. This workshop will focus on: -the design, implementation, and evaluation of effective educational and treatment strategies, methods and skills building strategies. -Particular emphasis will be given to individuals with behavioral excesses and difficult to manage behaviors. -All ages of individuals will be addressed: children, adolescents, and adults. -Several case histories will be discussed that illustrate success with extremely challenging individuals who displayed aggression, self-injury, and destructive behavior. -Also discussed will be how politically and ideologically based practices effect treatment and educational outcomes and decision making.
