Guest guest
Dear All, I am posting on behalf of a number of families living in Saigon, Vietnam. We are in the process of recruiting therapists from overseas to come and work under my supervision in home/school based ABA programmes for children with developmental delays. Packages are internationally competitive and include benefits (flights, holidays, accommodation, etc.). In particular, we are looking for candidates who: * Are happy to respond to direction and follow programming recommendations * Have experience working in ABA home/school based programmes with primary aged children with developmental delays. This should ideally include training and experience in: * The Verbal Behavior approach to programme design and implementation including Functional Communication Training * Errorless Teaching * Natural Environment Training * Discreet Trail Training * Teaching independent play skills and peer interaction skills * 1:1 in-class support in a mainstream nursery and/or primary school setting * Data recording methods * Have a bachelors degree * Are willing to commit to at least 1 year living in Vietnam * Love traveling and learning about new cultures All programmes are delivered in English and school inclusion will take place in English-speaking international schools. In most cases, at least one of the parents is an ex-patriate living in Vietnam. Economically, politically, and socially, Vietnam is rocketing into the 21st Century and the pace of development is quite something to see. It is a fascinating and spectacularly beautiful country and Saigon is a city that never sleeps. The people in Southern Vietnam are some of the friendliest in South East Asia and their cooking skills are second to none. Crime rates are very low compared to most North American or European cities and the cost of living is more than affordable, especially given the average package for overseas therapists. All major destinations in South East Asia are within 2 hours flight from Saigon and serviced by cheap budget airlines offering a huge selection of travel destinations. Vietnam offers a safe, friendly, and very relaxed quality of life for those that like an adventure. For those who fall in love with the lifestyle out here (and there are many that do), Vietnam offers an increasing range of long-term opportunities in the field of education. If you would like more information about the current positions offered as an ABA therapist in Vietnam, please contact Tony Louw via email at tony.louw@... We look forward to hearing from you.
