long-lost friend and to chat with her. It was also nice to

hear her

son's sucess story with his helmet. So put your info in the

database.

You never know what might happen!!

We are still taking Evan to the Cleveland Clinic on 8/3 for his

CT

scan. That was the day he was scheduled to be cast for his

helmet.

I

was worried that he would be almost 9 months old (too late?) by

the

time he got his helmet. So I talked about it with the orthotics

folks

at the Clinic (because the plastic surgeon wouldn't call me back)

and

we went up this past Friday for Evan's casting! Now, when

we go on 8/

3 for the CT scan, we can also get his finished helmet that day!

Of

course, we just have to hope that the CT scan doesn't show any

closed

sutures, etc. Essentially, this will get Evan at least 2

more weeks

of treatment that he wouldn't have had otherwise. Even though

the

Cleveland Clinic is the huge, famous place, it's good to know there

are still some people there who can provide patients with individual

care and attention. Kudos to their orthotics department!
