Hi Gretchen- Hope you are having a nice holiday season! I have a quick

question for you...just wanting to know your opinion...

We are looking for a good place to donate money each year. Last year,

we made a significant donation to the CMT Association for the Livney

Challenge. We (my husband, , and myself) are a bit skeptical

when it comes to research grants and all that goes with that...we just

want our money to make the biggest impact possible, and we are unclear

as to how that money is managed and whether it is really effective to

give to public research projects vs. private research or other avenues.

Obviously, I have CMT and would LOVE to help in whatever way that I

can to find a treatment or cure for this disease. Since we have been

blessed, financially, that is one of the current ways that I can help.

Do you have any ideas or opinions on where you might put money if you

were going to give for CMT?
