Guest guest
Anybody know more about this website. It is only 999.00 to get your genome and then you can " read and understand your own DNA " . I saw the ladies who started this service on Wired Science last night. This seems like a deal considering that getting our genes tested through Athena Diagnostics costs much more and we don't get to learn about all of our genes. Will this 23andme test let those of us who don't know which type of CMT we have get that info for only 999?
Guest guest
, This site uses saliva for DNA. The CMT DNA testing process uses blood, and if I remember correctly, when I interviewed Amar at Athena Diagnostics he told me the genetic info comes from white blood cells. This is also why there has been some talk (in the medical world) about extracting DNA from the spinal column, since it is all white blood cells.
