Guest guest
Hi Geri, All my life I've had the 'reverse effect' (as I call it) to some medications. Ones that were supposed to help me sleep made me more awake, ones for tremors only made them worse, etc. Gretchen
Guest guest
How do you and you doctors cope with that? How does one prove it to a new doctor? I know they think I out of my mind!! Geri
Guest guest
Hi Geri, Oh I am * very * verbal with them, explaining exactly what my reaction to the medications are and I refuse to take them. Most of my docs have been understanding about that, and a bit confused, but have attributed it to my 'nervous system', lol I have also done research over the years (before the Internet I was in libraries frequently perusing the PDR) and I would * suggest * a medication. Fortunately, now the only medication I need is for tremors and it works very well - no reverse effect, rather I noticed a BIG difference within 24 hours. Guest guest
Yup, sure do .... any hydrocodone pain relievers make me hyper and boy do I crash hard afterwards. Soma, taken at bedtime gives me the creepy crawl-lees, bedbugs etc feeling and does little for muscle cramps. Vytorin causes me unbelieveable muscle pain. This last year has been hell trying to find the right formulation/combination of medications ....without going BANKRUPT! > > Do any of you have a problem with medicationss doing the opposite ....Like muscle relaxers making you turn into a tight ball or high blood pressure meds making you feel stressed or you heart pound.? > > Geri > >
Guest guest
My son has taken Ritalin take for ADD. I take Welbutrin for depression and have taken Celexa a cousin to Lexapro. The draw back to Celexa was weight gain and wow was I always tired. I also got addicted to it. I would get very sick if I went more then 3 days without a pill. I do better on Welbutrin.
