Going to China Shoe opinions welcome

Hello,

I will be leaving for China on January 21 to adopt our 5th daughter.

In 2003 we adopted our 4th daughter and my feet swelled up and I was

unable to put my shoes on at the end of the flight.

I looked at Crocs this morning and it was a little confusing,

The mary jane style was too unstructured and I felt wobbly. The opened back pair

with the strap felt good but I would have to go up to large to accommodate

swelling. The Mammoth Crocs (furry lining) were cozy but with no back strap I

worry that they might ride sideways like

flip flops do with my funky feet.

I have never owned a pair and just want something for the plane ride.

Please let me know if you have any advice on this subject
