Serial litigant wins disabilities suit against Solvang restaurant

http://www.mercurynews.com/news/ci_7700301?nclick_check=1

A serial litigant who has sued hundreds of California businesses for

alleged violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act won his

lawsuit against a Solvang restaurant.

A Santa Superior Court jury decided Tuesday that Jarek Molski

should get $5,000 from the Mandarin Touch Restaurant, whose owner

says he plans an appeal.

Jurors agreed that Molski, a paralyzed Los Angeles area man, was

discriminated against because the restaurant failed to remove

architectural barriers blocking wheelchair access.

A Los Angeles federal judge ruled three years ago that Molski

is " vexatious litigant " who filed lawsuits on insufficient grounds.
