Guest guest
Hi folks, I am new to this group and while not " officially " diagnosed, I did have nerve conduction testing done a few years ago which showed diminished nerve conduction in my feet, and I have neuropathy in my feet and legs up to my knees. Also have very weak ankles and little foot strength. My mother has been diagnosed with CMT (not sure of the type), my grandmother had it, and both were in wheelchairs almost exclusively by age 60. My great grandfather also walked with difficulty before he died. Now I " m 38 and while I do everything I can to stay physically active (yoga, dance classes, work out at the gym and bike instead of driving a car) I have started to feel fatigued more often. Some days I feel like I can hardly get my hands and arms to work, it's a struggle. It's like they just won't listen to my brain. Is this a typical symptom of CMT? Thanks
