I was originally told that I could be on the surgery in October 2003, but that has been changed to April 2004. Hawaii does not have a fulltime CI surgeon, so we have to depend on a rotating surgeon from California. He comes here every 3 months, stays 2 days, does 2-3 surgeries, then goes back home, from what I'm told. Anyhow, that's where I'm at right now...waiting...and posting!
