Guest guest
" The real problem is that trees will fall and destroy power lines. States are going to have to be aggressive about pruning and removing trees near power lines. If they do that, they would always replant smaller trees, ones that won't grow much taller than the power lines themselves or shorter. " I know that three years ago or so I was told that in Sweden, they are attempting to bury all of their power lines, although for them, it is an issue with what they believe to be toxic effects from the electromagnetic energy given off by the power lines. It is expensive, but when done properly, it keeps the lines safe from storms, and the lines last longer generally, since many times they are encased in pipes.
