Guest guest
Hello ers and Season's Greetings, Below is the response I received from Greg at Nike HQ about the wide shoes. And now I have a question for you all. Is anyone wearing any Nikes? If so, which models? We have a Chumash Tribal Clinic here and I'm calling them tomorrow to inquire about these shoes. I'm curious and think I'm going to check into how the fit compared to my New Balance ones. ~ Gretchen ******************************************************************** Hello Gretchen, It is great to hear of both you and your members interest in the Nike Air Native N7. We are very excited about this collaboration with the Native American community. Nike is committed to the Native American community and promoting a physically active lifestyle. Therefore the Nike Air Native N7 is a performance shoe built to meet the specific foot shape and width needs of Native Americans. Profits from the Nike Air Native N7 shoe will go to support 'Let Me Play' programs on Native American lands. This first offering of the Air Native N7 is currently limited to Native American Wellness centers throughout the U.S. While this initial offering is small, it's possible that we may expand the distribution of this product to the general public based on its success. However, if you are not Native American or do not have access to a Native American Wellness center please know that Nike of course offers a large variety of wide footwear in its general line up as well. Most are in the running footwear category which includes the Air Pegasus wide style # 316465 (or style # 316832 for 4E), the Air Max Moto V+ wide style # 316463, and the Air Structure Triax 10+ wide style # 315168. Wide models have their own style numbers but are otherwise unrecognizable from the " regular " width versions. Therefore, be certain you reference the exact style number above when shopping at a retailer. Also, for a complete list of wide footwear that Nike has available please visit Nikestore.com, click customer service at the bottom of the home page, then click frequently asked questions and type wide in the keyword box. We appreciate your support of this initiative. Sincerely, Greg Nike
