I have not found research that suggests Omega 3 would help CMT Myelin.

This info below is about MS, which is different than CMT, as MS

affects the immune system. For more on the difference between CMT and

MS, look in our Files section. You may want to talk to your doctor

about the addition of the Omegas to your diet, depending on your

nurtritional status.

formation may predispose the individual to multiple sclerosis in later

life. The myelin sheath is the gossamer membrane insulating material

surrounding nerve tissue. Deprivation of Omega-3 fatty acids to an

infant during the critical myelin sheath growth period may weaken the

nerve structures. Later viral infections could result in slow
