In response to your questions about the post traumatic stress most of us expeienced as children....you are not alone! I think late last summer a lot of us even went into a great deal of detail...so it may be worth going back into the late summer early fall 2005 and thumb through too, if you are interested...tedious as that might be. Also, if you are not familiar with the work Mina did you might find some of her work very interesting in this regard...what is left from her original website is in our files section. My experience was as bad as anyone's...casting, traction, bed rest, frankenstein image during teen years...average to poor pain control...I didn't realize until late in life either how much that experience changed my view of myself.
