" There is a certain irony here because what the study suggests is that the ability to hyperfocus is a bad thing. Think about what would have happened if Edison gave up on inventing the lightbulb after three or four tries, or if Einstien could not have developed his theories, or if Bill Gates and Steve Jobs had threw up their hands and said " Forget this computer thing! It will never work! " The scientists themselves had to hyperfocus to get this study done, yet the study tacitly suggests that the typical air-headedness we see in NTs is a good thing.
