Liz:

My husband and I went to Savannah Georgia for our honeymoon; we

spent half the time staying at a beautiful bed and breakfast with

excellent service on Tybee Island (nice beaches) and the other half

staying in a Bed and Breakfast in Savannah itself. Savannah is

supposed to be the most haunted city in America and has great history, art and

wonderful food; my husband loves history and haunted things so he loved that.

I love old architecture and beaches so I was very happy with Savannah. If

you'd like to see links to where we stayed and pictures of our wedding check out

our website:

www.chickebey.multiply.com. The links to the B & B's are on our Links

section.

Hope this may help. Good luck with all the planning!

Peace, :)

Marti

Liz,

We really enjoyed the Senggigi Beach Resort in Lombok. You could do half there

and half in nearby Bali. That said, it was many years ago that we were there

and it may have gone downhill.

Liz,

Rosemary Beach in Florida is divine. You can rent a cottage or a loft and there

are both pools and the beach on the property. It is close to Destin, Seaside,

SanDestin, etc. Lots of restaurants, shopping too!

Another beautiful place is Grand Cayman and Bermuda...little expensive though!

LOVE THE BEACH!!!!

Hi Liz,

Sorry for my delayed reply - I have been away on business for 2 weeks and am

just now getting through emails from early February!

For our honeymoon we went on safari and then did beach. Safari is a great

way to honeymoon. It is mostly driving in open top cars, up early to see

the animals, then lazy afternoons spent reading in the bush. Someplace like

S Africa may be nice. We went to Kenya and Zanzibar but I would not

recommend Kenya at the moment. The location of course is totally dependent

on the time of year as Africa is the southern hemisphere. Also budget is

something to think about. There are good cheaper deals available, but if

you want luxury that is easy to arrange too, especially through a safari

specialist.

I also grew up in Hawaii so would really recommend that too.

Good luck with the planning,

Donna from London
