Guest guest
Hi! My 7 mo. old son was diagnosed with CMT1A at 2 mos of age. He's developementally delayed-- not rolling over or sitting or bringing things to his mouth. I am just wondering if this goes along with CMT or if it's not related. He's a real charmer even though he's been through so much already in his short life. He's had 2 major surgeries, depends on an ng tube for liquids and wears glasses due to astigmatism in both eyes. I'm just trying to get some answers and info. so I can ease my mind from the constant worring. Thank you for any advise, Sonyarhea
Guest guest
Hi Sonyarhea, I haven't heard of CMT causing things like not rolling over or sitting, but it could be related. My oldest daughter, has CMT 1A and she was mostly just delayed with walking and the stuff that comes after walking (running ect.) He could have something else along with the CMT...I know of people who have two different diagnosis in one kid so that's not impossible. I hope you get the info. you need. God bless your little boy.
