Guest guest
Hi, just saw your sprouter arrangement on the photo list Does that contraption have a name? Where did you get it? Did you build it yourself? How do you keep it cool in the summer months? Very impressive. Very clever. Happily Sprouting but always open to new ways, Diane
Guest guest
Hi Diane, The sprouter is Val Archer's design and manufactured by Paster Dan Schaefer. If you want a name, I think it is called GoGreen Automatic Sprouter. Dan lives in Michigan, US and I live in Toronto, Canada. I ordered one from him, completely built as I like the fact that their trays and sprouter box are made from food grade plastic. The costs in my case had to include a slightly higher shipping cost. However, they are also very nice, you can buy their design with full instructions (for < $10) and parts description to build one for yourself, or you can order all the parts (trays, nozzles, wires, timer) without the bulky box for a much less shipping cost, particularly if you live in US. For summer months, I do not have a cooling issue, as my automatic sprouter is placed in my basement. You can turn on a small fan to keep the air circulation. Melody of this group has some ingenious ideas to keep sprouts cool, she has videos to show you how. You can reach Dan Schaefer at Tel: ** Email: help@... go to his website to order http://www.gogreensprouter.com/sprouters Val Archer's web site here has her story and lots of education on sprouting http://www.greensmoothie.com/ On Sat, Feb 25, 2012 at 12:34 PM, sundasher789456 wrote: > ** > > > Hi, just saw your sprouter arrangement on the photo list > > Does that contraption have a name? Guest guest
Hi. thanks for mentioning my sprout cooling system. For anyone who does not have air conditioning, this works great.
